Wellness is achieved when the joy of life-career experience, far exceeds and cannot compare to any life-career challenges. In addition, an individual feels that s/he possesses physical strength, emotional energy, and cognitive liveliness, which together comprise a set of interconnected affective experiences – this is called vigor (vitality).

This enables an individual to have internal and external coping resources to deal with daily life challenges without reaching chronic stress and depression or other symptoms.
